Meet the Team

Cami Johnson

Our head instructor, owner, and founder of High Valley Horses.  Cami started riding horses when she was six, in Anaheim, California.  She has shown and trained through the United States Pony Club, and during her time received her D-2 national rating through the USPC.  She has shown in English Pleasure, English Equitation, Hunter Hack, Hunter/Jumpers, Gymkhana, low level dressage, and has owned horses most of her life, including our wonderful horses River, JJ, Rio, Teddy, and Cash!  Her specialty is in the Hunter/Jumper ring.  She loves teaching, and is so excited to share the wonderful world of horses and shows with everyone who has a desire to learn!

JJ

JJ was born in April, 2004 and is AQHA registered under the name "Meshawa's Tru Luv".  She is one of the most gentle horses ever with a little jog that is great to learn with!  She takes great care of her riders and is a great confidence builder!  JJ loves hanging out with her barn mates and getting treats after lessons!

River

Meet River!  She's a 9 year old OTTB registered name "Rapid Rebecca".  River loves to work in the arena and have a job to do!  River is currently in training here at High Valley Horses and is starting over fences!

Rio

Rio is a JC registered Thoroughbred gelding, and the one who started it all!  His registered name is "High Valley Guy", which inspired the name of our program!  This horse is one of a kind, and can really do it ALL!  From the Show Ring to hitting the trails, this horse excels in everything he does!

Teddy

Teddy is a 2005 AQHA, gelding, registered name "Chantelle's War Drum".  This sweet boy has a lot of personality and loves cuddles!  He has a background in mostly western riding, but has transitioned into English riding and jumping!

Cash

Cash is a 2006 AQHA, gelding, registered name "A Popular Investment".  This silly boy has a great babysitter personality!  He has a great deal of show experience and makes for an awesome first show partner!

Blaze

Blaze is our largest horse in the High Valley Horses barn, standing at a height of 17 hh tall and growing!  He is a JC registered thoroughbred under the name "Street Zombie".  Although Blaze is newer to his off-the-track career, he continues to make great progress in his training and in our lesson program with our more advanced students!  This horse wins the hearts of all who meet him with his big puppy-dog personality!
